§ Mr. Buchanan-Smithasked the Secretary of State for Scotland how he will dispose of the firearms and other weapons surrendered to police during the recent amnesty.
§ Mr. RossI have advised chief constables that any service weapons surrendered should be passed to the Ministry of Defence, that any antique weapons which their owners do not wish to retain should be handed over to museums, and that all other weapons should be destroyed.
