§ Mr. Cledwyn HughesI estimate that the total cost to date has been of the order of £9,500. The inquiry has so far sat for 15 days and the average daily cost has therefore been of the order of £630. These estimates include the fees payable to the Inspector and to counsel appearing on behalf of the Crown, the salary costs of staff of my Department attending the inquiry, and administrative expenses such as the hire of premises.
