§ Mrs. Ewingasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will take steps to ensure that the hundreds of qualified non-registered teachers who were transferred at midnight on 31st March from permanent into temporary staff retain their security of employment, in promotion prospects and in the right to payment of salaries fixed by scale.
