§ Mr. Ednyfed Hudson Daviesasked the Secretary of State for Defence what estimate he has made of the cost of bringing the retired pay and pensions of all armed forces personnel who were retired or discharged before 1960 up to the current 1960 rates and awarding to those over 60 years of age the appropriate increases on the basis that they had been retired or discharged in 1960; and what would be the cost on the basis that the increase is confined to those over 60 years of age.
