§ Mr. Englishasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what is the amount of the proposed increases in expenditure by his Department affecting Nottingham, as a result of the new Government policy of increasing expenditure on central urban areas, and the amount of the proposed consequent economies in expenditure by his Department affecting Nottingham.
§ Mr. MacCollAs the Prime Minister announced on Sunday, 5th May, the Government are urgently considering the programme of expenditure in urban areas of special need including those areas which contain substantial numbers of immigrants. Information about particular areas will not be available until the study is completed.
