asked the Minister of Transport what was the original estimate, the extra cost to date and the total estimated extra cost of the roadworks at the Leys Bend, near Monmouth.

The works at Leys Bend are only a small part of the scheme for dualling the A40 between Goodrich Cross and Chapel Farm and figures relating to this part alone are not available.
