§ Mr. Gwynfor Evansasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what plans he has to assist in the establishment of a national opera house and a national symphony orchestra for Wales.
§ Miss Jennie LeeThe Committee of Inquiry into Opera and Ballet set up by the Arts Council will be reporting later this year and will be making recommendations about the need for new opera houses and their location. The question of a national symphony orchestra for Wales is under consideration by the Welsh Arts Council.
