§ 66. Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Attorney-General whether he will refer to the National Board for Prices and Incomes for investigation the fees and salaries paid to those connected with all legal cases during the past 12 months where the costs were more than £2,000, to ascertain to what extent such payments were in accordance with the Government's policy on prices and incomes.
§ The Attorney-GeneralNo. There is no reason to suppose that either barristers or solicitors' charges have risen unduly since the date when the Prices and Incomes policy was adopted.
