The following numbers of qualified scientists, technologists and engineers (QSE's) are employed in the Ministry's civil Research Stations:
QSE's Scotland 270 England 1,150 There is no Ministry of Technology civil Research Establishment in Wales.
In addition, Ministry of Technology defence Research & Development Establishments in England employ approximately 320 QSE's on civil research.
