Whether they are aware of the dilapidated state and unwholesome appearance of the Lansdown Station in Cheltenham, which since the closing of St. James' Station is the only existing station serving local travellers and other passengers; and whether they will state what plans, if any, exist for rebuilding or redecorating this terminus, particularly as it is used in the tourist season by overseas and other visitors to the Cotswolds.
§ LORD SHEPHERDIt is a management responsibility of the Railways Board to decide on the priority and scale of rebuilding or redecoration of individual stations. The Board are aware of the condition of Lansdown Station, Cheltenham, and it is understood that they are currently considering proposals for its improvement.
