§ Mr. DarlingOn 26th January, 1968, a police patrol car informed the Air Traffic Control Centre at Heathrow that a ball of fire had been seen. Since it was clear that this was not caused by an aircraft in difficulties nor was it causing a hazard to air traffic no further action was taken.
