§ Mr. Harold LeverA survey of local authorities outstanding loan debt was last carried out as at 31st March, 1965 (15th May for Scotland) when authorities had £2,983 million of debt due for repayment in up to one year, and £1,527 million of debt due for repayment in over one year and up to five years. A similar survey is being considered for 31st March, 1968.
