I am circulating the figures in the OFFICIAL REPORT.

We have done a great deal to reduce the vulnerability of post offices and have been having some success as the figures show. I recently agreed with the National Federation of Sub-Postmasters further preventive measures at sub-post offices. Nevertheless, I think there would be advantage in an outsider having a thorough look at Post Office security problems and I have arranged with my right hon. Friend the Home Secretary
