§ Mr. BoydenNone. The airfield at Honiara on Guadalcanal Island is being improved by the local Public Works Department in order to develop local and regional air services. The work is being financed by the Commonwealth Office out of Colonial Development and Welfare funds. One officer and two non commissioned officers of the Royal Engineers are helping with the construction.
