§ Mr. Scott-Hopkinsasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government when he will now bring forward legislation to amend the retirement regulations for public service servants who have 25 years service, following the agreement on this matter between the National Association of Local Government Officers and the Association of Municipal Corporations.
§ Mr. SkeffingtonMy right hon. Friend has no immediate proposals for amending the local government superannuation scheme, review of which ought to wait until the Government's own proposals for a national earnings-related pension scheme are made known.
