Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will now contact the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis to ascertain what action was taken by the police officer who took particulars on the evening of 16th May of the unlicensed paraffin lorry SAN 180, in Perth Road, N.4, which had no C licence, no Road Fund Licence and no hooter; and what action the police intend to take.
§ Mr. Elystan MorganThe apparent lack of a Road Fund licence was reported to the local authority concerned. The police are pursuing inquiries into one of the other matters before deciding what action to take on them.
