§ The Prime MinisterI would refer the hon. Member to the Answer I gave to a similar Question by the hon. Member for Dorset, South (Mr. Evelyn King) on 29th April, 1965. As the hon. Member will see, apart from the general increase in the pay of Members of Parliament, Ministers of the Crown and the Leader of the Opposition which took effect early in 1965, the current arrangements are precisely the same as those effective during the tenure of office of my predecessors.—[Vol. 711, c.93.]
