§ Mr. Monroasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what recommendations he has received from the South-West Economic Planning Consultative Group to help provide employment in the area; and what steps he has taken to implement them.
§ Dr. Dickson MabonThe Group has proposed a comprehensive study of the resources and requirements, including in particular the employment requirements, of the South-West. I was glad to be able to tell the Group on 20th June that, subject to consultation with the local authorities, such a study would be put in hand forthwith.
