asked Her Majesty's Government:

When they propose to ratify the European Convention on the Adoption of Children signed at Strasbourg on April 24, 1967; and, if legislation by Parliament is necessary in order to enable such ratification, when it is proposed to introduce such legislation.

The European Convention on the Adoption of Children was ratified by Her Majesty's Government on December 21, 1967. Legislation was not needed.
