§ Mr. Monroasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, what study he has made of the control of imports of agricultural produce that could be grown in the United Kingdom; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Peart:We already have arrangements, designed to promote greater market stability, which regulate imports of some of the more important commodities produced in this country. I never exclude the possibility of other measures affecting imports, if such measures seem appropriate, bearing in mind our international obligations and general commercial policy.
