§ 123. Mr. Dodds-Parkerasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will give an assurance that Peel House will continue to be used as training centre for the Metropolitan Police until the Force is up to establishment.
§ Mr. TaverneNew premises at the Hendon police estate, additional to those now used there to train recruits will be ready in May and the Commissioner of Police plans to use these for the recruit training now done at Peel House, thus bringing all recruit training together in one place. He has not completed his plans for the future use of Peel House, but a police use will remain, which may include some training.
