§ Mr. Cledwyn HughesEvery member of a New Town Corporation in Wales receives, with his Instrument of Appointment, a memorandum of guidance on political activities which includes a provision that, on matters affecting the work of his Corporation, a member should not normally make political speeches nor engage in other political activities.
