§ The Attorney-GeneralThe Advisory Committee set up under the provisions of Section 13 of the Legal Aid and Advice Act 1949 are already considering to which Tribunals legal aid should be extended when financial circumstances permit. This enquiry involves examination of the principles of legal aid in those cases.
§ 41. Mr. Bishopasked the Attorney-General what sum was spent on legal aid in the last year for which figures are available; and of this figure what was the approximate sum spent on aiding divorce proceedings.
