Mr. Bob Brown

asked the Minister of Health (1) if he will give the comparative figures of hospital beds per 10,000 of the population in the Northern Region and in South-East England, the rest of England, England and Wales, England, Wales and Scotland, and the whole country, respectively, at the latest available date;

(2) if he will give the comparative figures for hospital beds per 10,000 of the population in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and in South-East England, the rest of England, England and Wales, England, Wales and Scotland, and the whole country, respectively, at the latest available date.
