§ Mr. Gordon Campbellasked the Minister of Transport if he will undertake that, in his decision on the future of the railway repair works at Inverurie, he will take into account the effects of any change on the economy of the whole of the North of Scotland, as well as on the local area.
§ Mr. MarshThe future of the railway workshops at Inverurie is a matter for the British Railways Board. The Board is keeping me in touch with its thinking, and I am satisfied that it will take account of the wider social and economic considerations as well as consulting the unions.
