§ 39. Sir D. Rentonasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many voluntary civil aid societies have been formed since the disbanding of the Civil Defence Corps; and what help he has given and plans to give towards their activities.
§ Mr. Merlyn ReesI understand that 98 groups were represented at a conference of these societies held in October.
