§ 38. Mr. Edwin Wainwrightasked the Minister of Power what information and material his Department has prepared for circulation to British embassies to assist in his policy of giving all support to the National Coal Board in its export endeavours.
§ Mr. MasonOur Embassies in Northern and Western Europe are under instructions to give the National Coal Board all general assistance required, particularly where foreign Governments are directly involved. The Board tell me that 71W they are entirely satisfied with this assistance. They are themselves in regular and direct contact with importers and consumers, and do not normally want our Embassies to distribute promotional material.
