§ 107. Mr. Clark Hutchisonasked the President of the Board of Trade if he will state the prices fetched on the London market for wool from the Falkland Islands for 1966, 1967 and November 1968.
§ Mr. DellFalkland Island wool is sold by open auction in London. Prices, in common with those of wool from any source, vary very widely depending on quality and grade and also between auctions. The following are the average prices of all Falkland Island wool sold:
1966 43.17 pence per lb. 1967 40.83 pence per lb. November 1968 44.34 pence per lb. For 1968 as a whole 43.17 pence per lb.
