HC Deb 09 December 1968 vol 775 cc53-4W
Mr. Whitaker

asked the Minister for the Civil Service, in what circumstances officials of a Government Department are permitted to divulge the contents of communications from a member of the public, without permission, to, respectively, another Government Department or body, the police or a private body or individual.

Mrs. Hart

The circumstances vary according to the nature of the communications. If my hon. Friend has a particular case in mind, I should be glad to look into it.
