HC Deb 04 December 1968 vol 774 c514W
Mrs. Ewing

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will seek to amend the law to protect the interests of adoptive parents who have had an infant for adoption continuously in care and possession for six months.

Mr. Elystan Morgan

Sections 5 and 32 of the Adoption Act, 1958 already provide some protection for adoptive parents in these circumstances. My right hon. Friend has nearly completed the collection of information about the operation of the present law on adoption, which he will then review.
