The following table gives the estimated numbers in manufacturing industries and in tax-bearing industries; the manufacturing figures do not correspond exactly with the numbers in establishments eligible for regional payments, of which figures are not available for local areas. The estimates are rounded to the nearest hundred and relate to June, 1966, which is the latest date for which local estimates are available.
