§ Mr. Onslowasked are Minister of Health what is the present ratio of maternity beds to population in the North-West Surrey Group hospital area; and what ratio is anticipated in five and 10 years time.
§ Mr. SnowThe present ratio is 0.48 beds per 1,000 population. The South-West Mertopolitan Regional Hospital Board are at present reviewing the maternity services in this area, and pending the completion of this review I cannot say what ratios are anticipated in five and ten years' time.
