HC Deb 11 April 1968 vol 762 cc325-6W
Mr. Atkinson

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will detail the amounts granted from public funds to the Chesterfield Borough Council for each financial year 1961–62 to 1966–67.

Mr. Skeffington

The information is as follows:

to the proposal to use No. 1, The Pavement, as an amusement showroom, already rejected by Lambeth Town Planning Applications Sub-Committee as undesirable, he will dismiss the appeal against this rejection now before his Department.

Mr. Skeffington

It has been arranged for one of the Department's Inspectors to hold a local inquiry into this appeal on the 5th June, 1968, at Lambeth Town Hall when there will be an opportunity for local opinion to be made known. My right hon. Friend must await the Inspector's report before reaching a decision.
