Mr. Ronald Bell

asked the Minister of Health how many times he has exercised his powers of authorisation under Section 46(1) of the Patents Act, 1949, since 21st June, 1965; whether such exercise was a procedure of resort following price negotiations; whether it was a renewal of Section 46(1) authorisations issued before October, 1964; whether it had the approval of the patent owners; whether he followed the precedent of reporting the exercise of the power to the House; and if he will make a statement.
