§ Mr. Farrasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government why the Land Commission is promoting the acquisition of the allotments belonging to members of the Lutterworth Allotment Association; and what alternative sites will be offered in view of the demand in the district.
§ Mr. MacDermotI understand that the Lutterworth Rural District Council may be interested in acquiring the allotments but they have not formally requested the Commission to acquire the land on their behalf. If the land is to be acquired, the council will, no doubt, consider whether alternative sites should be offered to the allotment holders.
