For how many years has the total market value of securities held by the National Debt Commissioners in the National Insurance (Reserve) Fund shown a depreciation of ten per cent, or more from their cost price as defined in note (a) of page 13 of House of Commons Paper 146?

In the accounting years ended 31st March, 1952, and 31st March, 1953, and in every accounting year from and including 1955–65 to 1966–67 the last year for which accounts are available.

What is the aggregate over the past ten years, or other convenient period, in the accounts of receipts and payments in the National Insurance (Reserve) Fund of losses on realisation or conversion, less profits on realisation?

A net loss over the ten-year period, of £40,393,305.
