§ Mr. David Howellasked the Secretary of State for Defence what was the date of publication and total cost of preparing the publication, British Rainfall 1961; and what is the date on which 100W he proposes to produce British Rainfall 1962.
§ Mr. Merlyn Rees"British Rainfall 1961" will be on sale through Her Majesty's Stationery Office from 9th April at 8 guineas a copy, which takes account of the actual publication costs. The information which appears in "British Rainfall" is prepared for routine use in the Meteorological Office in the first place and it is not the practice to record the costs thus incurred. "British Rainfall 1962" is expected to be published next year.
