§ Mrs. Shirley WilliamsYes. The Government agreed in August to the establishment of a new medical school at Southampton. When this and other projects have been completed the number of places available last year in Great Britain as a whole will have been increased by about 650. The case for further expansion is being considered by the Royal Commission on Medical Education.
