§ Mr. Bruce-Gardyneasked the President of the Board of Trade what estimate he has made of the value of goods and services, directly or indirectly, exported from Scotland expressed as a percentage of the gross domestic product of the Scottish economy; and what are the corresponding figures for the United Kingdom as a whole.
§ Mrs. Gwyneth DunwoodyExports of goods and services amount to about 17 per cent. of the value of the gross domestic product of the United Kingdom. I am unable to give such estimates for the Scottish economy since contributions to individual goods and services exported may be made in more than one region.
