§ Mr. HealeyWe are, of course, conscious of the help that Australia gave to this country in two world wars and, as stated in the Supplementary Statement on Defence Policy 1967, we are planning to maintain a military capability for use, if required, in the area, even after our withdrawal from Malaysia and Singapore.
