§ Mr. Biffenasked the Minister of Labour how many transport undertakings have been affected by the overtime 264W banning in the past three weeks; what local settlements have been made following industrial action; what percentage increase in rates or earnings is expected to arise from such settlements; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. HattersleyI understand that at least 50 undertakings have been affected by an overtime ban. No settlements have so far been reported to my Department. Any settlement would of course be subject to the Government's incomes policy.
