No apportionment to Scotland can be made of central government expenditure on military defence and other services the Great Britain total of which in 1966–67 (excluding debt interest and net lending) was £3,400 million. Central Government expenditure in Scotland which can be separately identified was about £770 million in that year. The details are:—
