§ Mr. Priorasked the Minister of Health in view of the fact that the facilities available for outpatients, inpatients, and operations at the Lowestoft hospital are not sufficient to meet the growing needs of the area, what steps he proposes to take to remedy the situation.
§ Mr. K. RobinsonA new district general hospital will eventually be built to meet the needs of the Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth area. The East Anglian Regional Hospital Board are planning to improve the facilities at the Lowestoft and North Suffolk Hospital and a new 56-bed maternity unit will be completed early next year at the Northgate Hospital, Great Yarmouth.
