87. Earl of Dalkeithasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will introduce a new timetable of office hours in Government offices in the city of Edinburgh, with a view to setting an example of the staggering of office hours as a means of alleviating transport problems in large cities.
§ Mr. RossThe hours of attendance of office staffs were changed in my Departments in 1965, regard being paid then to transport congestion in Edinburgh. I see no need for a further review at this stage.
