§ Mr. Milneasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will state the cost of the overhaul of guns used to fire royal salutes on the occasion of the Queen's Birthday and other events, and the manpower used in this overhaul.
§ Mr. BoydenAnnual maintenance is estimated to be about £5,000 including labour. In addition, £21,000 is at present being spent on new breech mechanisms which will then last for about 20 years.
