§ Mr. Ednyfed Hudson Daviesasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will name the universities and other colleges which implemented the 7 per cent. salary increase to clerical and administrative staff from 1st February, 1967; which have since been instructed to discontinue this payment; and how many have complied with this instruction.
§ Mr. CroslandI do not have information about the universities and colleges which implemented the increase. Further guidance has recently been sent to universities and voluntary colleges which I hope will enable them to comply with Government incomes policy.
