HC Deb 23 March 1967 vol 743 c346W
Mr. Robert Cooke

asked the Minister of Public Building and Works (1) what is the area of office accommodation now occupied by the Land Commission in Bristol;

(2) what was the capital cost of the building now occupied by the Land Commission in Bristol and what moneys have been expended on the building since its acquisition; and what is the annual cost of maintaining and servicing the building.

Mr. Prentice

The Land Commission occupies about 17,500 square feet or rather over half the building in question, which the Ministry purchased in 1950 for £48,500. About £5,500 has been spent on works services for the Land Commission's occupation. The annual cost of maintaining and servicing its part of the building is about £12,000.
