§ Mr. Thorntonasked the President of the Board of Trade if he is aware that in the recent months of September-January imports of cotton piece goods from Portugal totalled 18½ million square yards, equal to an annual rate of 55½ million square yards, or almost double the 1966 total; and whether that is the level which it is his policy to allow for 1967.
