§ Mr. FreesonI understand that the average transport cost of coal for C.E.G.B. power stations is 13s. 9d. per ton which represents 14.3 per cent, of the average total cost per ton. I regret that precise figures are not available for other customers but an indication of transport costs can be obtained from Table 2 of the National Board for Prices and Incomes Report No. 21 (Coal distribution costs—Cmnd. 3094).
