Mr. Biggs-Davisonasked the President of the Board of Trade how the decrease in textile imports from Malta in 1966 compares with changes in the level of such imports from other Commonwealth countries; and what consideration has been given to an increase in order to assist Malta in her present difficulties.
§ Mr. DarlingMaltese exports of cotton textiles, in common with those of most other Commonwealth countries, are included in the global quota. Within this quota she had done better than some and worse than others, the position varying as between different types of goods.
